1. Get the Chatbot Script

• Log into your bntr account.
• Obtain the HTML code by selecting ‘Get Embed Code’ on your chatbot, in the ‘My Chatbots’ section of your account.
• Copy the script based on how you will be displaying your chatbot; either in an iframe or floating at the bottom on your webpage.
  

2: Log in to Your Squarespace Account

• Open your web browser and go to Squarespace.
• Click on Login and enter your credentials to access your account.

3: Access Your Site’s Settings

• Once logged in, click on ‘Website’ on the navigation menu on the left hand side.
• Select ‘Pages’, and then the site where you want to add the chatbot.
• Click on the Settings icon on the page you what the chatbot to be added.

4: Navigate to Advanced Settings

• In the Settings menu, scroll down and click on Advanced.
• Within the Advanced settings, click in Page Header Code Injection section.

5: Add the Chatbot Script

• In the Header section of the Code Injection section, paste the script from step 1.
• Click on Save at the top left corner to save your changes.

6: Preview and Publish Your Site

• Go back to your site’s main dashboard.
• Click on Preview to see how the chatbot appears on your site.
• If everything looks good, click on Publish to make the changes live.

Troubleshooting

• If the chatbot does not appear, double-check the script to ensure it is correctly pasted.
• Clear your browser cache and refresh the page.
• Ensure that any ad-blockers or script blockers are disabled while testing.
